Paul Stastny Out At Least 5 Weeks

The St. Louis Blues will be without center Paul Stastny for at least five weeks, according the team on Wednesday. The team has placed him on injured reserve with a broken right foot.

No definite time frame was given for his return. They expect him to miss five weeks and he will be re-evaluated at that time.

The injury was sustained in the team’s October 16 match against the Vancouver Canucks. He has put in a goal and four assists for the team through five games this year.

Stastny is one of three players the Blues currently have on the shelf, with defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk out and rookie Robby Fabbri out indefinitely with a concussion.
